Edwards Mechanical Pump Oil (1L) for Desktop Metal's Studio System & Shop System Furnace Units

For the great functionality of metal 3D printers, you must properly maintain the printer and the furnace unit. The vacuum pump oil replacement procedure must be performed simultaneously with the demister filter replacement within a few hours of completing a sintering cycle to ensure the vacuum oil is heated to the proper temperature.

Besides proper PPE, such as nitrile gloves, the required tools are:

  • Quick connect drain tube (included in furnace exhaust kit)
  • Oil waste container
